Samantha Laughland

Samantha Laughland, PT, DPT

Sam, a native Texan, began dancing at a young age and participated as a member and head officer of her dance team. She earned her Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Dance Science from Texas A&M University (gig ’em!), her Master of Fine Arts in Dance from Sam Houston State University, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Texas State University.

Sam has a special clinical interest in pelvic health and dance performance. Her care is directly shaped by her background as a comprehensively certified Pilates instructor and her local experience as a former dance teacher and director at Cedar Ridge High School in Round Rock. Driven by her desire to help her own dance students navigate injuries, Sam shifted her focus to physical therapy to help all types of movers heal and prolong their activities. She works closely with patients to create practical, individualized plans to help them return to the activities they love.

Outside of the clinic, Sam enjoys staying active, binge watching her favorite shows, and spending time with her husband, Cody, and their two pets, Asher and Pumpkin.
